This year, the spirit of community and compassion shone brightly as the Clarence A. Jones Scholarship Foundation and the Xi Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. joined hands with the Ebenezer Baptist Church (EBC) to support their annual Feast For The Homeless dinner.
Held on the Friday before Thanksgiving, the event served as a powerful reminder of the holiday season's true meaning: fellowship, service, and ensuring everyone has a seat at the table.
Fellowship and Service in Action
The partnership proved to be an overwhelming success, characterized by great fellowship and dedicated service. The Brothers of the Xi Iota Chapter and members of the Foundation worked alongside EBC's volunteers, experiencing the rewarding effort of providing a warm, nourishing meal to those in need.
The Kitchen Ministry at Ebenezer Baptist Church truly distinguished itself, delivering an outstanding operation and serving delicious food that brought warmth and comfort to every guest. The energy and dedication of the church volunteers were remarkable.
While many Brothers were present and contributed to the day's efforts, every person involved helped make the dinner a memorable and successful community endeavor.
A Continuing Commitment
In addition to their hands-on support, the Clarence A. Jones Scholarship Foundation and the Xi Iota Chapter were honored to present a contribution to Ebenezer Baptist Church to help support their future endeavors. This financial support reflects the organizations' deep commitment not only to education but also to broader community welfare and the fight against homelessness and hunger.
This joint effort underscores the mission of both the Foundation and the Fraternity Chapter: to uplift the community, embodying the principle of service in every action they take.
