Uplifting the Next Generation: Mentoring Journey Middle School Students

The Brothers of the Xi Iota Chapter, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., recently demonstrated our commitment to the cardinal principle of Uplift by dedicating our time to mentor young men at Journey Middle School.

On November 25th, we gathered after school hours to connect with the students. This special engagement session provided an invaluable opportunity for the middle schoolers to interact with positive male role models from our Fraternity.

We strongly believe in investing in the future of our community. By offering our time and guidance, we aim to inspire the young men of Journey Middle School to strive for academic excellence, demonstrate strong character, and pursue their goals. These sessions are a key component of our ongoing commitment to manhood, scholarship, perseverance, and uplift—principles that guide our work both within the Fraternity and in the greater Charlottesville area.

The event reinforced the powerful impact that consistent, dedicated mentorship can have on shaping the next generation of leaders, truly embodying the spirit of Uplift in the community.
